CHP Policy Video - Criminal Justice

I’m Jim Hnatiuk, Leader of CHP Canada. I have the skills as a former CPO1 Military Officer, Combat Systems Technician (Ret), and as a successful business man, to represent you in Ottawa. I am also a Nova Scotia Field Officer, with the National Firearms Association, and a Wildlife Instructor, for the Professional Nova Scotia Guides course. I serve as a Deacon at my church. I have been married to my lovely wife, Ellen, for 37 years and we live in Enfield, in Cumberland-Colchester-Musquodoboit Valley (CCMV).

Some of you met me during the 2009 by-election and I’m trusting many more will meet during this election, I’m counting on you to send me to Ottawa to be your voice for CCMV! Why? Because we are, the only truly conservative party left in Canada and …because CHP Canada has

 Better Solutions!

There are better ways to ‘do’ politics in Canada. It’s time for a fresh approach to the issues that challenge us.

Better Solutions for the Family

  • The family is the foundation of a stable society. CHP Canada’s Family-Care Allowance of $1,000 per month will assist those parents who choose to care for their own children in their own homes.  This allowance will also apply in the case where an immediate family member must leave the workplace in order to be the primary care giver for an aging parent or a disabled family member. CHP Canada will enshrine legal protections for the unborn and restore traditional marriage.

Better Solutions for Healthcare

  • The healthcare system can’t continue as it is with Canadians dying from declining service quality, growing wait times, and runaway costs.  CHP Canada will encourage a competitive environment for health-service providers to offer world-class care while attracting more top doctors.

What does Jim think?

  • What are the most important issue facing voters in CCMV?
  • Do you think the Conservative’s plan to introduce a $2,000 Family Caregiver Tax Credit will increase care-giver time for aging parents and disabled family members?
  • What will you do to increase the amount of infrastructure stimulus funding throughout the riding?
  • What will you do to improve the delivery of health care in the riding?
